Why Give to a Foundation?

More importantly, why give to our Foundation?

Why donate to a Foundation?
Focus and expertise: Nonprofit organizations often have a specific focus or expertise in a particular area, which can make them well-suited to effectively use donated resources to make a difference.

Impact: Donating to a foundation or nonprofit can potentially have a greater impact on a specific cause or community because the organization is able to use the donation to fund programs and initiatives that address a specific need.

Transparency and accountability: Nonprofit organizations often have a clear mission statement and a track record of using donations effectively, which can make them more appealing to donors who value transparency and accountability.
Trust: Donors may choose to give to a foundation or nonprofit because they trust that the organization will use their donation ethically and responsibly.

Personal connection: Donors may have a personal connection to the cause that a foundation or nonprofit organization is addressing or may have had a positive experience with the organization in the past.

Legacy is planting seeds in a garden you will never see. I read once that those who give tend to live longer. I am not sure how true that it is but donating to a cause that is important to you does impact your life and others. When I think about planting seeds in a garden you will never see; I think about donating money to a cause that impacts children, adults and those who are in need. We may not personally know them or will see their garden grow but we are creating positive impact and change for them.
